Ever since finding out I was expecting, I've been waaaaaay more conscientious about what I apply to my skin. It turns out, my bargain bin lotions (and even some of the fancier stuff) was actually just a chemical cocktail that I was no longer comfortable gambling with.
I guess I wasn't the only one. Erbaviva was founded by mother, Anna Cirronis, and father, Robin Brown, who wanted to make an organic skincare line that is safe for babies, expecting mothers, and anyone else.
This oil is supposed to reduce water retention by stimulating circulation, giving the appearance of smoother, tighter skin. The combination of grapefruit, pink pepper, and ginger was a bonus.
Cause I can tell you, if it doesn't smell good, I'm not gonna put it on my skin, no matter how natural it is.
This one smelled a little more earthy, thanks to the frankincense and helichrysum essential oils in it. Similar to the Shaping Oil, it promotes tighter, smoother skin, but targets cell regeneration and skin elasticity.
George couldn't get enough of the smell and wouldn't leave the pouch alone.
I, meanwhile, was admiring how both the Shaping and Firming Oils left my skin glistening, but not greasy, absorbing rapidly upon application.
So far I've been spared any stretch marks, but never say never considering I've still got another 10 weeks to go and the belly gets bigger by the day. This was actually my favorite of the product samples; it was thick, buttery, non-greasy, and smelled terrific.
George liked it too.
